Filter meshes for filtering air or liquids
Filter meshes are used for screening or filtering particles from air or liquids. Top Zeven stocks a large quantity of woven polyester and – polyamide (nylon) filter meshes. These meshes are woven with high-quality monofilament threads on renowned Sulzer weaving equipment. This ensures constant and exact spacing between threads, creating a mesh with calibrated mesh openings. These meshes have openings from 2 mm. to 20 microns (0.02 mm), or from 2 to 200 threads per cm.
Facilities Top Zeven
For filter mesh processing, Top Zeven has a well-equipped workroom with some mechanical tensioning machines to stretch framework with mesh or to make drum filter panels. We can also laminate and punch so that, according to your design, we can make specially shaped filter parts (see Operations).
Stocks
Top Zeven has a large stock of plastic mesh and can advise you well regarding the right mesh for you. The minimum sales quantity is 1 m2.
Laminating with air or water
In addition to filtering, woven meshes – due to their similar structure – also offer the possibility of lamination with water or air. A laminar airflow is a requirement in operating rooms and clean rooms, and many of our woven frames are used here.
Feed spacer
The even and bi-planar structure of our extruded meshes make them very suitable to be used as feed spacer in a reverse osmosis filter or ultra-filtration system. Our polypropylene extruded meshes have different thicknesses. They provide an equal and constant distance between membrane parts. The bi-planar structure provides optimal properties for feed spacers.
