Mesh is also used for packaging and holding together products that must remain in contact with external elements (such as water or air) and/or when materials must not spread.
Well-known examples
Well-known mesh/net packaging examples include orange netting(extruded mesh), mesh around Christmas trees(knitted mesh) or pyramid-shaped tea bags(woven mesh). Mesh/netting for these purposes often has a large open area to maximize contact with the external environment.
Suitable mesh types
Meshes/nets with a relatively large open area are our extruded BOP (bi-oriented polypropylene) meshes, our woven co-extruded meshes and our specially designed polyester and polyamide tea meshes.
