The two-layer and stable structure of extruded PP mesh offers unique dewatering functionality. In addition, the extrusion process allows to produce on an exact, defined mesh thickness.
Polypropylene extruded mesh provides the rigidity to provide even spacing and support across the entire surface of the membrane. This maintains the required flow with minimal pressure loss. The thinness of our gauzes minimizes damage to membranes.
Our polypropylene feed spacer meshes are produced in a variety of thicknesses ranging from 21 mil (0.5 mm) to 80 mil (2 mm).
For mesh thicknesses less than 0.5 mm, Top Zeven offers single woven meshes with a low thickness and a very high open area. These are mainly used for stack filters.
