In addition to everyday applications, Top Zeven also offers plastic mesh to support and reinforce non-woven filter material. Wire mesh provides additional stiffness in it, giving it a solid structure and allowing it to be applied in larger areas.
Applications and features supporting PET, PP, PBT and Polyamide (nylon) meshes
In addition to standard polyethylene – and polypropylene extruded meshes, Top Zeven offers special supporting meshes made of polyamide (nylon) and polyester (PBT). Extruded nylon mesh is well suited, for example, to metal mesh in hydraulic filters replace. They offer resistance to oils and are resistant to high temperatures. This makes them simultaneously an attractive ecological alternative. Our PBT (polyester) extruded meshes are used as oil and fuel filters in the automotive industry used. Combined with polyester nonwoven mesh, it provides a good basis for pleated filter units. Finally, they are 100% recyclable.
