The weaving process
A calibrated mesh with precise mesh openings made of polyester or nylon monofilament threads is woven on premium Sulzer looms. The size of the mesh openings is derived from the number of threads and wire thickness and determines the filter capacity. Post-treatment of the mesh by thermofixation ensures stability and uniformity.

In addition to polyester and polyamide meshes, Top Zeven also supplies a limited range of HDPE(high density polyethylene) and PP (polypropylene) woven meshes.
Top Zeven’s mesh scores very well in terms of elongation and can be offered at very competitive prices from stock.
Knuckle bound co-extruded polyester mesh
Top Zeven’s specialty is its “knuckle bound co-extruded” polyester meshes. These meshes are fixed at the intersections of the threads. This makes it possible to weave very flat polyester meshes with an extremely high open area (>60%) that are still stable. This makes them very suitable as spacer meshes that also do not fray when punched or “cold” cut.
